Well, this website's pretty much done with. That tends to happen... If you want to keep up with where I am now, the first port of call would be my Naymz profile. Beyond that, just try Google.

Have a good one, TTYL.

Well, as you can all tell, there hasn't been much time to update stuffs. I've discovered Facebook though and have been going out and getting photos. I'll keep adding photos but this site will probably be archived soon. I'll keep updating photos and will probably make that the main focus of this site but that's about it. Just a thought for the moment... I'll see how things go.

It's a photo gallery! Go have a look! It took place at Kurt's place. I'd like to take this moment to point out once again that I don't drink but am usually very tired :P.

First week back?? (Generally speaking) - 0 comments

First week back from hols at TAFE (apparently??) and there's been like 6 assessments done already x_x. I'm lacking lots of sleeps, caught up a fair bit this morning :) Hopefully catch up on a bit more tomorrow sometime. Wednesday's a public holiday though so that'll be good :) I did do an exam on Monday which I got 27/30 (90%) for. Pass originally was 28/30 (93.333e%) which I was a bit ticked off about but yesterday there was an announcement sent out saying pass had been changed to 24/30 (80%) and those who passed did not have to come for the resit exam so Monday arvo is now free too! :D

Mike's 19th happened on Wed night at Southbank :) I won't say anymore about that because there's a photo gallery up for that which you can go and look at. Seeing as a picture is worth a thousand words, that's gotta be something like 50,000+ words for you :P. Photo galleries have now been fixed too so that they actually work with more than a dozen or so photos. All this at this insistence of someone who wanted the photos. They also convinced me to sign up for Facebook, a photo sharing website which I haven't really started making use of yet but will probably do so in the near future.

Anyway, it'll be a busy week next week too, hopefully not as busy as this one but definitely better with the breaks in the middle ;)

Well, my birthday is well and truly gone now. Did a few things to celebrate: family lunch on Sat 7th; went out to Warwick on Mon 9th and Tues 10th to get away for a little while and also to see Amy; and last but not least, a gathering at the Yatala drive-ins on Sat 14th where those of us who went watched 300 and Wild Hogs.

It's all been good fun but now hols are over! Going back to TAFE this arvo and have an exam first day back x_x. There's another exam tomorrow morning, an assignment due on Wed arvo and an oral to be presented on Thurs! Will it never end?? And it hasn't even really begun yet seeing as I haven't even been back to TAFE after the break yet :P Ah well, fun (and stressful??) times ahead!

Another thing, after 33 months (approx, give or take a few weeks), I've FINALLY chagned phones! I did have a Nokia 6610, now I have a Nokia 6233. That's right, I'm sticking with Nokia. Why Nokia? They're simple and easy to use. What with being a technician by job and lifestyle (refer to sheer number or PERSONAL computers) there's a lot of things that aren't so simple. So, it's just nice to have one device that is the opposite and still works well :). I'm sure you understand.

After what I estimate to be about 43 months, I've also changed mobile providers. I'm no longer with Optus prepaid. I'm now on a cap plan with 3 (Three) which I'm liking so far. I only changed on Sat arvo but still...

Now with my new mobile services and phone, I have e-mail capabilities so a word of warning, I'll probably be e-mailing a few of those of you that I know from that. If you're reading this, know me and want to be included in that, just let me know. It'll be more personal than a blog like this, it'll take more time, but I can do it from anywhere (e.g. on the bus).

That's all I can think of for now... Unless you wanna give me moneys? Moneys are always useful :)!

End of teenagehoodness... (Generally speaking) - 0 comments

It's almost over! I'll be an old fart tomorrow :( 2 decades on the face of this earth! w00t and boo at the same time... I suppose I'll have to be more responsible and mature or whatever it is... but then again... I am a guy so maybe not :) Looking back on being a teenager it's been... well... interesting... and good! Time to start the next stage of my life I suppose. Hopefully it will be just as good :) So there you have it, my last post as a teenager!! I'll post back as a young adult tomorrow :P or later...

In other news... anyone who has seen me lately will be able to tell you that I'm far beyond tired! TAFE has got me doing many many assignments and most of last week was spent at The Follower (Easter musical by my church, Citipointe) which went OFF! It was really well done and from what I've heard, there were about 3300 people who saw it all up :). Anyway, more assignments must be done! BYE!

Here goes to all you ppl who seem to ask me "are you there?". Even if you don't ask, this might be worth knowing anyway. Ok, my Seto://Tiger account is my main computer. This sits at home, online 24/7. I access this computer primarily by remote desktop. Chances are you won't see this account online all that much, mostly away. This is the best places to leave me messages for me to get back to you. This is also the best address to send e-mails to.

The best way to tell if I'm online would be if Seto://Sylvester is online. If this account is signed in but on some sort of other status, then I'm probably not far off. This would also be the second e-mail address to send e-mails to.

Both of these 2 accounts are the ones that I use the most. You can leave messages or e-mail both these accounts and they should be checked fairly regularly. Most likely daily.

Other accounts may be online to time. These may include:
Seto://Felix - PDA
Seto://Cougar - Media centre
Seto://Garfield - Tablet PC
Seto://[other_cat_name] - other computer (probably test)

I am busy. That is all.
...
NOT SO! Well, sort of so, I am pretty busy these days but that's not all I'm going to write in this post :P

TAFE is going well. I've lost track of the number of assessments that I've done so far but I am passing everything at the moment. Let's pray it stays that way... I've made a friend that I get on well with (HI KIERAN!!! :P) and I'm also under the impression that everyone seems to think I know lots... which may or may not be true... depending how you look at things.

Church is absolutely brilliant as well! For those of you who don't know, I've taken to helping out at Citipointe West in Inala (about half an hour away from where I live). I also developed the information CD that everyone in the Creative Ministries Department gets a copy of and there's a few other things I'm doing but I won't reveal any of that here and now :). I did get an award the other week too :D That was highly unexpected! I'll quote what it says on it and that'll explain it all:
Citipointe Church Creative Ministries Department selects Nathan Seto as the member of the month for February 2007. For being such an incredible 'quiet achiever'. For being such a great example in character, competence and chemistry. For your involvement in the Multimedia and 3D teams, and for bringing so much more including all your help with the information CD, setting up visualisations, helping with design and establishing Multimedia at Citipointe West.
I love my church :) and by the sound of it, they love me too ;).

I've also recently started talking to my ex-girlfriend which isn't all that uncommon I suppose BUT conversations aren't... well, I don't know the word, but it's all good now :P but that's enough about that.

I have computers! Which was already obvious... but I sold off a lot of stuff, scrapped a few machines, bought some stuff, got given some stuff.. I'll get around to updating the computers section when it's all over :P The major events to note though are that Sylvester was finally replaced late last week (read back and you'll be able to find out what the problem was) and Tiger has been rebuilt into a very nice machine. Tiger is now an Intel Core2 Duo E6300 on a Gigabyte 965P-DS3 motherboard with 2Gb of DDR2-800 PC6400 RAM. It's main uses are as my workstation when I want to use it, remote desktop gateway and a host for virtual machines. It runs VMWare very nicely ;). Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade it to 4Gb later and get another hard drive or 2. Speaking of which, my network is pretty full now :( By network I mean the servers on my network are pretty full... Cheetah has a 320Gb drive full and a 160G2b drive almost full. Kitty has a 3x20Gb drives and 2x80Gb drives all full as well. Before you ask, not they're not full of porn but at the same time, I'm not going to tell you what they are full of. That's my private, personal business! :P (Barney, HIMYM) I still have to finish sorting out which boxes get which parts and which roles... Sometime after that I'll look at updating the "My computer(s)" section of this site.

That's about all I can think of really... Oh! I've started reading my Bible more regularly than I used to (lots more in fact) and I'm learning lots and lots and LOTS!! I'm pretty sure that life has never been better than it is now :)

Have fun peoples, I'll report back in another month! :P (probably sooner than that... but I'm not promising anything!)

I actually wrote this post already then accidentally closed the wrong tab and lost it :S I told you I was really busy now! It's been 2 weeks-ish since I last posted. How's that for a record :P? I've started TAFE now which takes up 3.5 of 5.0 working days while also working 1.5 days a week which takes up the rest of it... Sunday is generally spent at church which anyone out there should come to :D I've also been busy with getting computers up and running. The number keeps going up and down as I keep changing my mind as to what I want in each one but at the moment it floats around 15 or more. Thanks to both Caillan and my boss at work for giving me many unwanted parts that I've been able to make use of. Anyway... who knows when I'll post next? I certainly don't! but until whenever that is... BYE!

The year ahead (Generally speaking) - 0 comments

Well, I know it's been the new year for a month now but things are finally starting to fall into place. I went to orientation at TAFE yesterday, the day before that I had my hours for work changed to fit in with TAFE and I've got a few other responsibilities this year that I won't go into right now. Basically means I won't have much spare time this year :P but it'll be good :)... and I'll just keep telling myself that :P no, but really, it'll be good! Any objections? Too bad! Oh, also... for those of you who know about my 2006 Planet Shakers arm band, it broke last week :(. Sad times but I've still got this year's! But that's fading kinda quickly...

There's been soooo much to do lately. The memorable things... I had lunch at a revolving restaurant for my grandfather's birthday. I've been doing a lot of stuff at work and have a bit of stuff to do for church. I'm now up to 13 computers. I've also discovered that while driving with only thongs on, my feet get sore rather quickly. Not really much else to report here, boss. Bye.

Planet Shakers + Joyce Meyer (Generally speaking) - 0 comments

I went to Planet Shakers last week. There were 2 lots of sessions of Planet Shakers in Brisbane this year: Monday to Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday. I went to the second lot of sessions with my brother and Amy. People I heard speak were: Russell Evans, Reggie Dabbs, Glynn Barrett, Sam Evans, Chris Hill and Matt Fielder. Some of them more than twice. I saw a few people who I went to school with who were helping with crowd control. They told me there were more people in the first half of the week but the preaching was better in the second half. Joyce Meyer was also at my church this weekend. I skipped one afternoon session of Planet Shakers to go and help out with the visual effects then went on Sunday in the morning and at night to hear her speak. Both Planet Shakers and Joyce Meyer were really great! I learnt a lot and the initial impression is that it will all be life-changing. How so? Well, that's between me, God and possibly a few close friends :-). I will say that life has never been better though and that if you weren't at this year's Planet Shakers you most DEFINITELY be at the next one! Even if you were at this year's, go again ;) Circumstances permitting, I will be :)

SEND ME!
I WILL GO!
LET ME GO! LET ME GO!

O Praaaise Him!
Jesus! Jesus!

I stand in awe of You
I stand in awe of Your wonder and grace
I stand in awe of You my God
You reign forever

My light and my salvation
God of all generations
You are the way, the truth, the life
My life

Just a few things (lyrics, and other things) from Planet Shakers ;)

Sylvester has finally made it. Remember a while back I mentioned I might be getting a Sony Vaio VGN-FE38GP laptop through salary sacrifice. Well, it's here! It's blazingly quick and it's now the fastest machine in the house. I LOVE IT!!! Problems with it so far is that the top-left corner of the screen's bezel doesn't seem to be sitting properly. The built-in webcam is also blurry :( I'll return it under warranty and just hope they fix it seeing as said problems have been there since I got it. Specs and an update about the last weekend and half week will be coming soon.

More of January now with family! (Generally speaking) - 0 comments
Posted on Friday, 05 January 2007 at 0:00:23
Well I apparently didn't mention it before but my grandparents from Sydney are staying with us at the moment. Now that may be all well and good but there's so many family events to go to while they're here. Now that might not be so bad either except for the fact that half or more (usually more actually), don't speak english so well. There's also a lot of food which doesn't sound so bad... until you realise that I'm already carrying a bit of extra weight around and laying out large amounts of free food in front of me is not going to help the cause. Apparently my brother and I aren't supposed to go out and we're supposed to 'be around'... which makes no sense to me... I mean I can understand us being around to go to said family events but being around for the sake of being around? Now, I know you're supposed to be respectful and so on and so forth but is it really necessary to turn your life upside down?? Anyway, that's my rant... maybe I'm just too ticked off about effectively giving up one of my 2 weeks of holidays for the year... but wouldn't you be too??
